especially teenage girls.
how are we like dolls i hear you ask in your head not actually out loud so i actually cant hear it even if it was out loud i wouldn't be able to hear it as you would be to far away... anyway
it is said that everyone dresses to how they like.
wrong!
they dress to how others around them will accept them
will think they look good.
ever wondered why groups of friends usually dress alike?
because they are following what their other friends do.
as well as people being the dolls of friends.
magazines play a major role.
magazines have articles on the perfect outfit
they have pictures of models giving us the desired look
these make us want to be like that
the magazines are dressing us practically.
if they dont like it they bring out another look.
then you dress like that.
like a little girl not liking the way her barbie looks anymore, changing it whenever she pleases.
people might say im not a doll what are you on?
but really we go out wearing clothes yeah? (oh yeah except for that kid but oh well...)
you are confident in your clothes.
going out for the approval of the public really.
thats what a doll does.
sits there in the store waiting for the approval of a child to take them home.
same kinda (well not really but stick with me)
there are others that will deny it but it is quite obvious that they are.
fake tan, bleached hair.
someone else did that to them not themselves.
more extreme is plastic surgery.
you are letting someone reconstruct your body.
trusting them.
plastic surgery gets you even closer to a doll.
a molded face that cant change.
a plastic one.
